Get Involved
Volunteer
Service dogs are raised by communities, not by one organization alone. Volunteers make training hours, socialization, and family support possible.
Ways to help
- Puppy raising and foster homes during early development
- Socialization outings that build calm, confident public access behavior
- Facility, kennel, and grounds support
- Events, photography, and community outreach
- Professional skills: veterinary, legal, accounting, translation, web, and grant writing
What we ask
Reliability matters more than experience. Dogs learn from consistency, so we ask volunteers to commit to a schedule they can keep. Training and guidance are provided.
All volunteers who work directly with dogs or families complete an orientation and follow our handling and safety standards.
How to start
Email caribbeancanineacademy@gmail.com or call or text 787-233-5200 with your name, where you are located in Puerto Rico, and how you would like to help. We respond within two business days.
