Organizational structure

The organization is led by its founder and program lead, Cheryl DeLoach, working with professional trainers, veterinary partners, and volunteers.

Program decisions—including which dogs advance in training and which families are matched—are made through professional evaluation, not by donor preference.

Oversight practices

• Written training standards for foundation, public access, and task work
• Health and temperament screening before a dog enters the program
• Documented family application, interview, and readiness review
• Post-placement follow-up and the ability to pause or reassign a placement for safety
• Separation between fundraising activity and placement decisions

Conflicts of interest

Sponsorship of a dog does not grant a donor authority over the selection of the recipient family, the dog's training plan, or program operations.
